The development of the Traffic Shaping Engine, or TSE, is a major milestone in the development effort.  The TSE encapsulates the low level functionality necessary to build sophisticated traffic management features.   The NDS management components are currently under development and will be available as soon as possible.

The TSE provides the power, NDS provides the control.  Using NDS to intelligently direct the operations of the TSE will provide the real benefits in terms enterprise management of bandwidth.  However, the TSE by itself is still a very potent tool in many situations.
